Selene
Owner + Master Esthetician
Selene Serquen has been a Licensed Master Esthetician, Dermalogica Expert, and Spray Tan Specialist for more than a decade. During this time she has gained knowledge and experience in all aspects of Skin Care. Due to her love and passion for the industry, she opened Selene Salon & Spa in 2020.
As a spa owner, Selene strives to set Selene Salon & Spa apart from the typical spa by creating a serene and welcoming place where clients can experience the tranquility of the beach while receiving any service.
Alketa
Master Stylist
Alketa first became a licensed cosmetologist originally in Albania, Europe in 1997. She opened her own salon a year after, at the age of 20, specializing in updos and makeup for brides and special events, as well as cutting, coloring, waxing, and nails.
In 2005 she moved to the United States and continued to pursue her passion for the beauty industry. After becoming licensed in the States as well, she has worked for many years in St. Pete beach. Alketa provides a variety of services including waxing, nails, color, highlights, both men and women's haircuts, and updo's. She also specializes in cutting techniques taught specifically in cosmetology schools in Europe.
Alketa's open dialogue and clear communication and rapport with her clients not only allows her to tailor to their preferences and needs but also keeping in mind to always work in the best interest of the client whether that means advising for or against a specific service as well as inform them of the reasoning behind each decision all while also educating them further on all services offered and products used. Alekta's amicable personality and laidback charm have allowed her clients to always feel welcome and at ease and she looks forward to meeting and working with many more new clients amongst her dear regulars.

Originally from Uruguay and a former New Yorker, I moved to St. Pete a few years ago and have truly fallen in love with this community.
I own a Permanent Makeup & Cosmetic Tattooing business inside Selene Salon & Spa in Gulfport, where I combine artistry with precision to enhance natural beauty.
As an eight-time certified Permanent Makeup Artist and a Registered Nurse, I bring both expertise and a deep understanding of aesthetics to every service I offer, including:
Microblading
Ombre, powder, and shading brows
Nano brows and machine hair strokes
Permanent eyeliner
Lip blush and lip neutralization for dark lips
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the beach and pursuing my passion for Argentine Tango.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel even more confident in your own skin.

Hi, I’m Jordyn! I’ve been in the beauty industry for over six years, and my passion lies in helping people look and feel their best.
Some of my favorite services include nails, balayage and blonding, vivid colors, makeup, and eyelash extensions. I love the creative freedom this industry offers and the ability to bring my clients’ visions to life.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll likely find me in the kitchen cooking or baking, spending time with my pets, or out in nature searching for unique wildlife. I grew up riding horses and have always been a huge animal lover.

Colorist + Stylist
A little about me—I’ve always been passionate about studying animal behavior and love working with dogs. I have two of my own and am currently helping my daughter train her new puppy. Hiking and exploring are my favorite ways to stay active and unwind.

I recently moved from New Jersey to this beautiful town to continue my hairstyling career in a friendly, professional environment. As an experienced stylist specializing in all types of haircuts, balayage, and color, I’m looking forward to meeting new clients and helping them feel their best.
